Mark your calendars. September is here, and that means Big Iron 2023 is just around the corner.
Though the fair itself has passed, The Red River Valley Fair Association continues to move forward in their mission to provide enriching education in their multi-use complex, with their sights now set on preparing for West Fargo’s annual Big Iron
Farm Show, the largest farm show in the upper Midwest and an agribusiness mecca.
The Mission of Big Iron Farm Show:
Taking place every September at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds, Big Iron has continuously grown since 1980 when it first took root in Casselton, North Dakota. The next year, the association moved the show to West Fargo, North Dakota where it continues
to live today. The goal was to create a space focused on showcasing all the latest technology, innovations, and practices in “big iron.” With tens of thousands of visitors from all over the world each year, that goal has been met.
At Big Iron, you will not only find countless opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals, you’ll also be surrounded by over 900 exhibit booths, training sessions, and demonstrations from a wide array of exhibitors.
Two exhibitors you won’t want to miss are Titan Machinery and Raven Industries. We are excited to announce the 2023 Raven Ride and Drive Demo Site, showcasing the latest technology from one of the industry's recognized leaders in innovative ag technology.
Titan Machinery + Raven Industries:
Titan Machinery is proud to partner with Raven Industries, sharing a common interest in helping the farmers who serve and feed the world boost the efficiency and profitability of their operations. At this year’s Big Iron Farm Show, we’re excited
to help showcase and demonstrate their latest productivity-enhancing driver assisted technology – Raven Cart Automation.
With a growing global population, the challenges faced in keeping up with an equally growing demand to feed that population continues to rise. Raven Industries is committed to providing innovative solutions that allow for increased autonomy in their farming
operations and thus increase their productivity and profit, all while saving time and effort.
Why Raven Cart Automation?
Last year, Raven introduced the OMNiDRIVE Autonomous Grain Cart with capabilities that allowed farmers and operators to reduce manpower needs and automate on-the-go operations. This year, the Raven Cart Automation is making it even easier for any operator,
of any experience and skill level, to be more efficient efficient, productive, and profitable in their farm operations.
It’s no secret that unload on-the-go operations come with a variety of pressures and challenges for both combine and grain cart operators working together. Raven Cart Automation addresses these by enhancing the efficiency and productivity of these
operations while also providing a safer operating environment and confidence that grain is going into the cart, not on the ground. As a result, operators can now concentrate on keeping their machines harvesting at full capacity and make optimal use
of shorter harvesting windows.
Georgia farm-owner and fourth generation Case IH operator, Mike Jaros shares that with the communication Raven Cart Automation allows for between combine and cart operator, the benefits can't be beat.
Keeping the cart moving is the secret to how fast you can harvest, and if you're waiting on the cart, you lose time. Raven Cart Automation gives you control over the cart operation, so you can keep moving and speed up your harvest. It makes all the difference in the world. It's one of those things where until you use it and try it, you don't realize the benefits of it. Once you use it, it's something you just don't want to give up.
You can rely on the Raven Cart Automation system to:
- Minimize grain-spillage when unloading on the go.
- Reduce operator training time and error.
- Increase field efficiency and reduce unload cycle time.
- Synchronize smoothly between cart and combine.
- Make maximum use of available harvesting windows.
Raven Cart Automation also has the capability to work with multiple combines at the same time, utilizes radio signal (rather than Wi-Fi) for stronger performance in areas with poor cellular coverage, and works with Case AFS Connect.
How Do I Check This Out?
At this year’s Big Iron Farm Show, September 12-14th, you can visit the Raven Ride & Drive Demo Site for the full experience. During our field demonstrations, guests will have opportunities to either observe the
new technology in action from the ground OR hop in the command center themselves and experience it through the tractor’s viewpoint.
As a token of appreciation, customers who participate in the Raven Ride & Drive demonstration will receive a FREE Raven + Titan tumbler (while supplies last).
Titan Machinery and Raven experts will also be on hand providing overviews of the system, showcasing its capabilities, and answering all your questions.
So, mark those calendars and we can’t wait to see you there!
