On August 10, a wind storm rolled through the Midwest causing a tremendous amount of damage, including to the homes and personal property of Titan Machinery employees.
As part of our efforts to provide resources for the affected employees, we have decided to donate to the Equipment Dealers Association (EDA) Foundation Relief Fund. Through this, dealer employees can apply for disaster relief for losses associated with natural disasters.
The safety and wellbeing of all our employees is important to us. We continue to work together as a team, supporting each other in both the good times, and in times of need.
Titan Machinery announced today the donation of $25,000 to the Equipment Dealers Association Foundation (EDF). Established in 1988, the Equipment Dealers Foundation provides ongoing funding for workforce development initiatives and temporary assistance for Dealership employees affected by National Disasters. “The August 10 Derecho Wind Storm that started in Eastern Nebraska before moving across a good portion of Iowa caused a tremendous amount of damage” says Titan Machinery CEO, David Meyer. He further comments that “many of our employees who are already challenged with the issues surrounding the COVID-19 Pandemic are now dealing with losses and damages to their homes and personal property. I am glad we can support the Equipment Dealers Association’s disaster relief fund providing employees another resource to help them through these times of need.”
